Branding
The SISEAP brand consists of a unique combination of elements, outlined in the style guide and toolkits. It is important to adhere to these guidelines, as doing so helps to build the strength of our brand.
SISEAP Colours
Soroptimist International South East Asia Pacific (SISEAP) utilises blue and gold for all corporate branding purposes, with the option of black and gold where best suited. The SISEAP Primary Colour Palette is based on Reflex Blue and Pantone 109 CVC from the Pantone Colour System, converted from spot colour to either CMYK for print and production purposes, or RGB or Hex (web colour) for digital purposes. Black is commonly used for SISEAP branding purposes, and SISEAP Grey is used for the tagline when teamed with the strapline logo.

The Campaign Colours are: Purple for International Women Day, Orange for 16 Days of Activism: Orange the World, Green for Environment Month (June).

Soroptimist Emblem
Our emblem is also a compelling reminder of our promise to advance gender equality and eliminate gender bias. The female figure in the centre represents the spirit of womanhood. The oak leaves and acorns (on right), epitomise strength, growth, progress and achievement, while the laurel (on left) is the emblem of victory, typifying friendship and success. Our emblem has been used for many decades, and despite its age, still captures the character of our organisation.
The Soroptimist Emblem is also available in the different campaign colours.
The updated version of the Soroptimist International emblem was launched in July 2023.

Federation Straplines
Strapline logos have been professionally designed and prepared to represent our organisation and provide a consistent branding style for the Clubs of our Federation. These can be used for documents, powepoint presentations, graphics for social media and printed merchandise.
Strapline logo graphics are available in EPS, PNG and JPEG formats, for use on various layouts. For professionally printed items, such as (but not limited to) banners, flyers, signs, posters and badges, the EPS format is recommended. This is a vector format file that can be enlarged for reproduction without reducing file quality.
Club Straplines
Club Strapline logos have been professionally designed and prepared to represent your Club and provide a consistent branding style. These can be used for documents, powepoint presentations, graphics for social media and printed merchandise.
Straplines are available in JPG and PNG format. Please contact HQ HERE, if you require it in a different format.

Funding Opportunities
The Brilliant Futures Fund provides a funding stream for a club, or a country to implement or continue a new phase of a project which they would not be able to deliver without substantial funding.
The Brilliant Futures Fund Grant will provide funding for up to $10,000 to deliver a project. The project must have a strong educational focus. Clubs and Countries can nominate a project which addresses but is not inclusive to the following:
- Vision and Mission of SISEAP
- Increasing education opportunities for women
- Women’s sustainable economic independence
- Women in leadership
- Entrepreneurship project

SISEAP Disaster Fund is for the relief of the effects of natural disasters. It is there to enable access to support Soroptimist projects following natural disasters. Should a Club or Clubs, Region or Country wish to access this fund please do so by way of a application form.
Immediate relief funding - a club may apply for up to $3000 for disaster relief projects.
2nd Response disaster relief
Clubs may apply for funding up to a maximum of AUD10,000 for each Application. Realistic and manageable projects with a set timeframe will be the priority.

Clubs thrive when they have strong membership, it is the members who amplify their voices, enabling clubs to advance the Soroptimist Mission of transforming the lives and status of women and girls through education, empowerment and enabling opportunities.

Growth is the life blood of any organisation, introducing Soroptimist International to prospective new members is easy when you have the information in this brochure to assist you.
Our members are a remarkable and diverse group of women from different cultures, age groups occupations and interests. They are all enthusiastic, compassionate, and strong defenders of women’s rights.
Club Retention and Extension
Retaining members and recruiting new ones is the key to a healthy club. Clubs are asked to increase membership by 10% annually to stay vibrant. New members bring vitality to their club.
What Clubs can do to recruit new members:
- Having a successful club project will attract like minded potential members. Ensure you follow up with those who attend. Have flyers on what you do to take away.
- Social media: each Club should have their own Facebook page: or use Twitter & Instagram to spread project achievements.
- Newspaper articles that include a photo of an event. Issue media releases on events
Letters to the editor thanking the community for support of evengts. - Hold an afternoon or evening event for prospective members. Advertise via social media or in local community newspapers.

What Clubs can do to retain current members
- Make sure to recruit informed members
- Support, value and recognise members
- Engage members with decision making
- Listen respectfully to everyone in the Club
- Empower and let new members take a lead role e.g. in an activity or in a Club role
Muriel Barber Fund
The Muriel Barber Fund was established as a fund for extension within our Federation. It is named after Muriel Barber of Griffith Club in the Riverina Region New South Wales. Muriel was elected President of the Council of the South West Pacific in 1971 but died shortly after taking office.
Purpose of the fund is to:
- Subsidise extension in the formation, and support for a maximum of two years, of new clubs.
- Assist in establishing new Clubs in the Federation area beyond existing regional boundaries.
- Assist Regions, or National Associations (in the case of non-region countries) in their attempts to strengthen existing Clubs within their boundaries.
- Provide membership training.
- Provide funding for Federation wide extension, recruitment, retention and training.
- Also includes support for:
- Travel expenses.
- Charter of new Clubs.
- Promotional material.
